Help abused or neglected children by volunteering with CASA | Community Spirit
Think child abuse doesn't happen in South Mississippi? Think again. Thousands of children are abused, neglected or endangered across the area. CASA, Court Appointed Special Advocates, is made up of volunteers who help make life better for children.
Through CASA, these children get a voice in court. However, the organization needs more volunteers.
In Jackson County, CASA helps more than 1,600 children.
To continue the work, the group conducts volunteer drives twice a year. The next round of training begins soon.
